I Wish This Existed When I Was Starting Out
Let me take you back about five years.
I was building Ripple Effect Leadership while working full-time at a non-profit. I had the vision. I believed in the work. But I felt completely alone in figuring out how to actually make it work as a business.
I didn't know how to structure my programs. I didn't know how to set up the back end of my business. I'm a naturally organized person and I still felt like I was spinning half the time. The tech alone took years to figure out. Not because I wasn't capable, but because nobody hands you a roadmap when you decide to build something on your own.
And here's what nobody tells you about the early years of entrepreneurship: the trial and error is relentless.
You build systems that don't hold. You redesign programs because you've grown past them. You figure out tools, platforms, workflows, and strategies mostly by doing them wrong first.
You have moments where you wonder if everyone else has it more figured out than you do.
They don't. I promise.
What I know now that I didn't know then
After years of figuring it out the hard way, here's what I know for certain.
The foundation matters more than almost anything else. Not the logo. Not the website. Not the offer suite. The foundation. Getting clear on what you're actually building and why. Understanding your own values well enough to use them as a decision-making filter. Building systems that support how you actually work, not how you think you should work.
I also know that the inner work is not optional. The mindset piece. The confidence piece. The part where you learn to trust yourself as a business owner even when things feel uncertain. That work doesn't go away if you ignore it. It just shows up sideways later.
And I know that trying to do all of this alone, without structure or support, makes everything harder and slower than it needs to be.
Why I built what I built
Everything I offer now came directly from the gaps I experienced myself.
Not borrowed frameworks. Not theory I read in a book. My actual lived experience of building something real, one imperfect layer at a time, over several years.
🧱 The Foundation Lab exists because I spent way too long without clarity on what I was actually building.
🧠 The Inner Work Lab exists because I needed someone to tell me that the self-doubt was normal and here's what to do with it.
⚙️ The Smart Systems Lab exists because I wasted so much time on systems that didn't fit how my brain works.
And 🌅 The Ripple Year exists because I know what it feels like to need a thinking partner in your corner for the long haul, not just a course you work through alone.
I built all of it so you don't have to spend five years in the dark the way I did.
You don't have to figure this out alone
If any part of this resonates, I want you to know there's a place for you here.
Whether you want to start with one focused area through The Ripple Collection, or you're ready for a full year of one-on-one support through The Ripple Year, there's a path that fits where you are right now.
You don't have to have it all figured out to get started. You just have to be willing to take one step.
