Behind the Ripple

Hey, I’m Janic (Zsa-Nick)

I help entrepreneurs, leaders, and teams build leadership skills that actually work —without corporate jargon or cookie-cutter advice. I’ve navigated the highs and lows of business building myself, so I get it: leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about how you show up, make decisions, and take action (even when imposter syndrome tries to sneak in).

Fun fact: When I’m not helping people step into their leadership, you’ll probably find me doodling, testing creative projects, or recharging by the water.

My Background

I have an MA in Leadership from Royal Roads University, where my Capstone project explored how values guide communication and create a positive ripple effect in organizations. That work inspired the name Ripple Effect Leadership.

I’ve also spent over 24 years in the non-profit sector, leading national projects, teams, and volunteers. Those experiences taught me firsthand how values, clear communication, and collaboration can transform both people and organizations.

I’m also an Ambassador for World Values Day, bringing conversations about meaningful leadership and organizational values to life.

What Grounds Ripple Effect Leadership

These aren’t just words I pulled together for a webpage. They come from years of studying how people work, communicate, and show up with one another during my MA in Leadership. They also reflect the work I do as an Ambassador for World Values Day, where I champion conversations that actually matter.

Creativity

A fresh idea solves problems faster than a dozen meetings. Whether it’s a solo business owner feeling stuck or a team navigating change, creativity opens the door to clarity and momentum.

Collaboration

Things work better when people feel safe speaking up. I help entrepreneurs and workplaces shift from silence and guessing to real conversations that build trust and forward motion.

Connection

Healthy communication isn’t just nice to have—it’s the backbone of a strong business. When people feel heard, respected, and valued, they contribute more freely and show up more fully.

Sustainable Action

Your systems should help you breathe, not burn you out. I teach practical ways to communicate, organize, and make decisions that feel steady, supportive, and long-term.
